GoodNews is only eight years old and we do not own property yet. That means we can be tricky to find because there is no permanent address and no big sign with our name on it. We actually rent a school gym each Sunday to facilitate our weekly worship gathering. So joining us on a Sunday means that you will actually drive to Littleton Elementary STEM Academy at the intersection of Avondale Blvd and Buckeye Rd. For now, we set up and tear down every Sunday. That’s OK, because a church is a community of believers - not a property or building. One day we hope to have our own building, but even as a mobile church, we have a vision to impact people all over the world for the glory of God.

We are a diverse community of believers committed to following Christ together. Our services can be described as contemporary, informal, and interactive. The best way to discover what we are about is to join us on a Sunday morning at 10am for our weekly worship gathering. We hope that you will find us warm, welcoming, and Christ centered.
GoodNews is family friendly and encourages kids to participate in our worship services. All of our gatherings can be described as casual and interactive.
GoodNews meets Sundays at 10a.m. for a worship service at Littleton Elementary School. During the service we sing, pray for one another, take communion, and hear a message from God’s Word.
We also gather during the week in various homes in what we call Connect Groups. In Connect Groups we snack, laugh, share stories, ask questions, discuss our faith, and pray together.
We can’t wait to see you at one of these gatherings as we enjoy doing life together in Jesus.
When you join us on a Sunday, you will experience four components to our service:
#1 - a time of music and singing that glorifies Jesus (yes, we have a band)
#2 - an invitation to pray with other believers
#3 - communion (some churches call it Eucharist or The Lord’s Supper)
#4 - a “message” which is a time when our pastor (or another leader) shares truth from the Bible. During the message is when kids are invited to have their own Bible story time over in the school library with our Children’s Ministry Team.
Feel free to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Grab some coffee and make yourself at home.
Our gathering time on a Sunday typically lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Kids are a very special part of GoodNews Church! We enjoy helping them discover the goodness of God’s presence and the truth of who God is. Babies, toddlers, and preschool age can be checked into our nursery/preschool class when you arrive. The older kids (1st - 6th grade) are dismissed to their classes just before the message. (Kids are always welcome to choose to remain with their parents if they prefer.) If you have teenagers, they participate in the entire service with the adults on Sunday mornings. We offer a Teen Connect in various homes on Sunday evenings at 6pm
Absolutely! We encourage everyone to come dressed however they feel most comfortable. If your style is jeans and t-shirt, you’ll fit right in. And if you happen to be in the mood to dress to impress, then go for it!
Yes, GoodNews is a part of the Assemblies of God network of churches.

The Bible is God’s perfect and timeless revelation of Truth to all mankind. God’s Word is the final authority for our beliefs.
Humans are much more than just a rung on an evolutionary ladder. People are sacred, made in the image of our Creator, and destined for eternity.
The world we live in has been broken by sin. Sin has brought corruption, death, and pain to everyone on earth.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the one and only solution to our broken hearts and our broken world.
There is forgiveness of sin and new life available to anyone who will put his/her faith in Christ.
Our hope is in Jesus Christ transforming and restoring our lives into his image through the power of his Holy Spirit.
We live expectantly, awaiting King Jesus to return and invite those who belong to him to join him in glory for all eternity.
